SandStrom Wireless Bluetrack Mouse

Sandstrom have come out with a wireless mouse that tracks on any surface.

This mouse has something called 'Blue-Track'. This means that it tracks on anything, even glass. This is because it has a blue LED instead of a Red one so its on a different wavelengh. It is powered by 1 AAA battery which is included in the box. I g'ot m'i'ne for £15 from PC World.

On to the looks of the device now. On the top the is the Sandstrom Logo, scroll wheel and the mouse buttons. the top is made of soft touch plastic so feels comfy. On the left and right side there is a hole, some Ergonomics and that's about it.mOn the bottom there is a battery Compertment and a slot for the USB receiver, on/off switch, LED Sensor, and a connect button.

The mouse has quite a long range of 15 metres. it has a fairly high DPI of 1600 so is ok for gaming but it isn't a gaming mouse. The wireless recover is very small and is about 4cm big.

Sorry for no pic as I did this on my ipad.

Creative A520 Speakers Review

Creative A520 Speaker Review

Creative have come out with a set of 5.1 Surround sound set of speakers for £51.99.

These 5.1 Surround sound Speakers sound great and are fairly cheap.  The Set contains A 15w Subwoofer and 5 5w satellite speakers. To use these in your computer you need a 5.1 compatible sound card, If you don’t have one you can pick on up from PC World for £19.

The audio that comes out of these is very crisp and doesn’t distort when playing loud, bass heavy music. To get the best out of these speakers, you need to play the music with a media player that supports Surround sound like Nero 9 and above.

The in-line volume control is very handy as if your Keyboard doesn’t have media keys. When Playing Games like Need For Speed, the surround sound comes in very handy as you get the feel that the other cars are around you, it’s a similar story with Minecraft. In Minecraft when you are mining, you can tell which ‘way the zombies and creepers are as its like you are in the game with the sound coming from all directions.

So, in conclusion, These speakers are very good and give great audio and are built very well and for £50, you cant complain.
